Work With Us

Your narrative should hold up.
Most don’t.

ReasonQ works directly with organisations to audit and rebuild the reasoning behind their communications, positioning and strategic narrative.

Most communication failures are not writing problems. They are reasoning problems.

The narrative falls apart because the thinking underneath it was never made explicit, never tested, and never built to withstand a hard question — from a regulator, a stakeholder, an investor, or a board.

We fix that.

Who We Work With

Organisations where the quality of reasoning matters.

Professional services firms — engineering, environmental, legal and advisory businesses whose credibility is their primary commercial asset.

Companies preparing for mandatory sustainability reporting under Australia’s ASRS, or equivalent frameworks in Asia.

Boards and executive teams navigating high-scrutiny decisions — restructures, ESG commitments, market entries, regulatory responses.

Organisations that have sensed the gap between what they say publicly and what they can actually defend privately.

What We Do

01 — Narrative Integrity Audit

We review your existing communications — website, annual or sustainability report, executive messaging — through all five PHISE lenses. The output is a structured report identifying exactly where the reasoning is weakest: where claims lack evidence, where stakeholders are ignored, where integrity positions are asserted but not supported, where the narrative will fail under scrutiny.

This is the entry-point engagement. Most organisations find that seeing their own narrative through the five lenses is more persuasive than any pitch we could make.

02 — Website & Content Rebuild

A full rewrite of website copy, positioning statements, service descriptions and leadership messaging — built on the findings of a PHISE audit. Every claim is grounded in reasoning. Every value statement is substantiated. The result is copy that can be defended, not just read.

03 — Reasoning-Led Brand Strategy

Before writing a word of positioning, we run the organisation through a structured PHISE workshop to surface what can genuinely be stood behind, where the gaps are between intent and reality, and what narrative positions are actually defensible. This prevents the most common and costly communications failure: brand promises that collapse under scrutiny because they were written before the thinking was done.

04 — Decision Defence Architecture

Board and executive-level. Before a major decision is announced publicly — a restructure, an ESG commitment, a market entry, a regulatory response — we run it through PHISE and build the communication architecture around it. The output is stakeholder-specific messaging pre-tested against the hardest questions each audience will ask.

05 — ESG Reasoning Profile

For leadership teams, boards and ESG committees.

Before a high-stakes ESG decision is made, it helps to understand not just what the organisation knows — but how the people making the decision tend to reason under pressure.

The ESG Reasoning Profile is a scenario-based instrument we administer with leadership teams. It presents twelve carefully constructed situations — navigating data gaps before a public commitment, responding to concerns from a compliant supplier, overriding unease about an AI-recommended action — and reveals where individuals place the burden of responsibility when facing uncertainty, scrutiny and competing interests.

There are no correct answers. There are no scores. The output is a private profile of each participant’s judgement posture — and, when run across a group, a map of where those postures converge and diverge.

That map is often the most important thing a leadership team can have before a consequential decision.

The Profile can be run as a standalone engagement or as the opening instrument within a broader Decision Defence or Brand Strategy engagement.

How to Start

The fastest way to understand what ReasonQ does is to see it applied to your own communications. A Narrative Integrity Audit returns a structured PHISE assessment of where your reasoning holds — and where it doesn’t.

To start a conversation, contact us with a brief description of your organisation and the challenge you are facing. We will respond as soon as we can.
